The Brandeburgo gate









It is  former old berlin wall,  is one of the most important symbols of the Berlin and Germany, it is localized in the center of the berlin city in the Paris plaza forming the end of the under Den Linden Avenue and the beginning of the Tiergarten park.
It is very important in the history of berlin and Germany.



The brandeburgo gate was made by the architect Carl Gotthard Langhans (15 December 1732 – 1 October 1808), it is a construction in sandtone 26m high, 65.5m wide and 11m long, it is a neoclassical style, IT HAS five walkways, the biggest is the center walkway, with two smaller walkways on the sides, the interior and exterior part of the walkways is covered with reliefs of Hercules, Mars god and the goddess Minerva.



After  Berlin wall fall in 1867 Johann Heinrich Strack located both sides over the two frames, and after Carl Gotthard Langhans made the rest of the gate.

Above the gate is cooper sculpture of about 5m high by Johan Gottfried Schadow representing the Goddess Victoria mounted on a carriage led by four horses in the direction of the Berlin city.
